Report Cards

Hello Parents;

A third of our school year has now passed and first term report cards will be sent home tomorrow. (Monday) Parent/teacher meetings will take place this Wednesday (4:00 - 7:30) and Thursday. (2:30 - 7:30) We hope to see every family come out during these times and look forward to discussing your child's progress. If you have not booked your meeting times, please contact the school and talk with Cathy.

We wrapped up our volleyball season this past weekend. Our junior boys finished 4th in their tournament. Thank you to all the parents who drove our athletes to their games this year. We appreciate your help and support. Thank you again to Mr. Doerksen for being the coach and for the hours he gave for the benefit of the team.

Our senior high boys had a tremendous weekend. We ended up playing in the gold medal match against Senator Gershaw from Bow Island. Unfortunately we did not win gold but we are very proud of the silver medal that we won. Schools in southern Alberta are finding out more and more as to who Brant Christian is. Thank you to our parent coaches, Brock Pavier and Jonathan Lobdell for their excellent work this year and a big thank you to all of our parents who chauffeured our athletes all around southern Alberta. Congratulations team, a job very well done. You are excellent ambassadors for our school.

Upcoming events that you need to mark on your calendars; our Christmas concert, which includes all of our band students and jr/sr high choir will take place at the High River Baptist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 6. This celebration will get underway at 7 PM. The following week, December 14, our Christmas play and elementary choir (grades 1 - 4) will perform at our school. The curtain will rise at 7 PM.

The High River Santa Claus parade goes on Friday, December 1 and Brant Christian will have our little school house in the parade. Make sure to cheer extra loud as we pass by.
