Annual General Meeting

Hello Parents;

There are a couple of events worth noting for this upcoming week. On Thursday, Nov. 16 we will be holding our annual general meeting. It will take place at the Full Gospel Church in High River starting at 7:00 PM. It is very important to have at least one adult family member present and fantastic if all adults in the family can be present. The meetings are not lengthy ones but your presence is important.

On the athletic side, our volleyball season is quickly wrapping up. Our junior high boys will be playing in Pincher Creek on Saturday in their zone tournament while our senior high boys are in Lethbridge starting Nov. 16 - 18 in their zone tournament. A win by our senior high team would allow them to advance to a provincial final to be held Nov. 23 -25. Thank you to Jason Doerksen for coaching our junior high boys and to Brock Pavier for coaching the senior boys. Brock is a parent to one of our home school players.

The following week, the first term report cards come out and then parent/teacher interviews take place on Nov. 22 and 23. Make sure you book a time to meet with the teachers by calling Cathy at school. We expect that all parents will be out on one of those two nights. A reminder of the early dismissal time on Thursday, Nov. 23 to allow for more interview periods.

Our Remembrance Day chapel last Thursday went over very well. Thank you to Mrs. Brunning for organizing this event and for all of our parents and visitors who were in attendance.

Basketball season will get underway at the end of November and we are looking for a coach for our junior high girls. Practices will be on Wednesday after school at the Aldersyde Field House and run from 4:30 - 6:00. If you are interested in helping please contact the school and talk with Kevin or Jason.

Thank you to those parents and associates of Brant Christian for your continued support of our school through your prayers. We appreciate your faithfulness and your interceding on our behalf. Your prayers are heard and we see the results of your prayers.

Thank you,

Kevin Bailey
