Hello December

Hello Parents;

Thank you to all parents who came out either on Wednesday or Thursday evening. It was good to see you at school and a pleasure to spend time with you and discuss the progress of your children.

Our focus now turns to Christmas and all the activities that lead up to our celebration of the birth of Jesus. On Friday, December 1, Brant Christian will have our float in the High River Santa Claus parade. Thank you to Jonathan Emsheimer who will be towing our float. Please make sure to set time aside for this fun event in High River. You can get all the details you need by going on the website for the town of High River.

On December 6 we will be presenting our Christmas concert that will be held at the High River Baptist Church. Our junior and senior high bands will be performing along with our jr/sr. high choir. We look forward to seeing you there. The following week, December 14 our elementary students will be performing a Christmas play and our elementary music students will be singing as well. Both events, Dec. 6 and 14 get underway at 7. The elementary play and singing will take place at Brant Christian School.

We have 37 people preparing to go on our school's mission trip to Tijuana. The group will leave on January 31 and return on February 7. The students have already raised the cost to build one house thanks to a very generous donation. They are now well on their way to raising money for a second home. Our students are still looking for work to do in return for a donation. If you can help our students out with their plans to help a family in Mexico, please contact the school. We will continue to provide updates on their fund raising progress.

Please continue to pray for Brant Christian and our society members. There is a lot of work to be done in preparing our school for the future and we need both the prayers and support of our families.
