Camp Little Red

Wow, was it a hot one this week! With the increase in temperatures outside, the building inside was extra warm. The students soldiered on bravely and did themselves proud managing the heat. The good news is that we are scheduled to have the boilers shut off on Monday, so the school will be a lot cooler in the coming days.

We also had our 7s and 8s do their annual visit to Camp Little Red. I was able to visit them at camp and see all the great things they were doing. It was a huge blessing to have such wonderful weather for this cherished tradition. Unfortunately I was unable to get any photos because I was busy getting soaked by water balloons. On my way back from camp I was able to watch our girls rugby team playing in Airdrie. I was so proud of the contributions they made to the Highwood team, and even got to witness one of our students score a try for the team! Very exciting!

Reminders:

With the rain arriving tomorrow, we can celebrate the provision God lavishes on the land. We have so many things we can praise Him for, especially in this season of new growth and renewal. I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend together and we all look forward to having your students back with us next week. God bless!
