We're off!

Hello Parents;

Welcome to the school year 2019/20. It was great to see so many of you out to our first day of school and trust that you enjoyed the pancake breakfast. Last year I mentioned several times to pray for 140 students this year. I feel that it is important to grow our school. The more students who attend Brant Christian, the more teachers we can hire which in turn allows us to offer more classes. We finished the week on Friday with 144 students. Our grade 3/4 class is now full, with many of the other classes sitting around 22/23. We are grateful for answered prayers.

The many new students seem to have fit in well. They are a great addition to our school and we look forward to getting to know them and their families better. Our first field trip of the year will take place this Friday, Sept. 13. The grade 1 - 6 students are heading south to Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump while the rest of the students (grades 7 - 12) are travelling East to the Atlas Coal Mine in East Coulee.

All four of our volleyball teams are now up and running. Our senior boys and girls play their first tournament this Friday/Saturday. The girl's team will be in Black Diamond and the boys will be playing in Lethbridge.

Please continue to pray for our school and our Brant board. This will be a very busy year for them and we appreciate their willingness to volunteer their time to make Brant Christian a better school.
