Upcoming Spirit Week!

Hello to all our wonderful Brant families! I hope this note finds you enjoying the lengthening days and spending time in the sun with your families. It was a real treat to see so many of you over the past few days at interviews, and to talk with you about your student as well as what is happening in your family. I really enjoy these conversations and was blessed to have this time together with those who came.

A few reminders:

  • You can order April hot lunches through www.schoolcashonline.com. These orders are due by April 3rd.

  • Next week the student council has organized spirit week, with four different theme days

    • Monday - Gratitude day - dress as your favourite teacher

    • Tuesday - General Dress up

    • Wednesday - Crazy hair or hat day

    • Thursday - PJ day with a game for the entire school at the end of the day

  • Even though we had the lost and found items out at interviews, there are still a lot of things that need to be picked up. If you are missing some winter items, have a look through when you are next in the building

Registrations have been coming in quickly but as the month comes to a close, I wanted to remind you that, as of April 1st we will be accepting new family registrations.  Anyone who has not re-registered prior to this date may be put on a waiting list depending on enrolment in certain grades.  Our goal is to have classes stay under 25 students, in order to ensure the best learning environment possible. This means certain grades could start reaching their limits soon, so don’t delay in re-registering!

Finally, I wanted to celebrate the achievement of our grads with their bake sale and email auction. Though the final total hasn’t come in for the bake sale, they did manage to sell all their items and the email auction alone raised $1100! All of this will go to their grad events, and will make it a wonderful experience for the students and their families. Thank you to all of you who contributed. I am so grateful for the support you showed in such a tangible way. God bless you all and have a restful weekend.
