Short week

Hello Parents;

How quickly our seasons can change. I look outside and it looks like January. When last weekend, on Saturday, it felt like a summer day. It is a good thing that our hope is not pinned on the weather. We would surely be hopeless if that were the case.

Tomorrow in chapel we have a missionary family, Grant and Sandi Webber, who will be speaking to our students. The Webbers are missionaries to Bali. I have known Grant for over 10 years and am looking forward to the message that he will share with our students.

Our short week is a result of our annual Christian school's teacher convention. Unfortunately it is a virtual event and is only one day rather that two. This is a disappointment for all teachers, as we look forward to meeting with other Christian school teachers to share our adventures. This Thursday will be a PD day for our staff. We will wrap up our school goal planning for the year, look at improving our online teaching access for students who miss school and a zoom meeting for accessing PAT practice exams. Friday will be our teacher's conference where the focus will be on apologetics.

A reminder of the school's auction that is fast approaching. We are hoping to get in more donations for the online auction. If you are planning to donate, we would appreciate your item as soon as possible.

We are grateful for God's blessing. Our school year has started well. Aside from the normal illnesses that students pick up, we have remained very healthy and our teachers continue to do a fantastic job in educating and leading our students. We are thankful that we can work in a Christian environment and as a staff we pray for you and your children. Thank you for your prayer support.

Kevin
