Last Day to Buy Tickets to the Upcoming Auction Fundraiser

A warm greeting to all our Brant families. It is hard to believe we have reached the end of another month. We can see the volleyball season’s end coming, the Silent Auction is almost upon us, and we have even begun to plan for the rink! Even though we are still missing the cold weather (but are we really missing it?) we are definitely well into the year. 

A few reminders:

• With the snow and wet outside, we have renewed our concern that students have indoor and outdoor shoes. When students change their footwear before coming in, it saves our custodian time and effort to clean up the mud from outside. Thank you for ensuring your student has both pairs here.

• The Silent Auction takes place next Saturday November 5th. Today is the last day to buy tickets. 

• Hot lunch orders for November are available. Please ensure you have those in before the deadline. 

• The school photos went home this week. Please have a look for them if it hasn’t been given to you. The return date is November 7th, or you can order them online using the information included. Retakes will happen on November 10th.

• We are looking at moving our pioneer village away from the building to give a little more wind protection on the playground. If you are able to assist us in safely moving these structures, please let me know.

• Monday October 31st is our costume day. Students can dress up (or not) in a costume and have been told not to wear anything gory, occult-themed or inappropriate. They may not bring weapons as part of their costume either. It will be fun seeing the many different costumes on Monday.
