High School Fund raising
Hello Parents;
Our time away at Teacher's Convention was very enjoyable. We listened to several encouraging speakers. Some who reminded us about the importance of our role as teachers and some who challenged us to look deeper into who we really are and how to improve ourselves. It was also refreshing to spend time together as a staff, away from school talking about things other than school. We are grateful for God's blessing of safety in our travels there and back.
Starting tomorrow, our high school students who are participating is the school trip to BC, will begin taking orders for purchases from CoCo Brooks. This company has a wide assortment of food products at amazing prices. See product list HERE. See order form HERE. If you are approached by one of our students, take time to look through the brochures. If not one contacts you and you would like to participate, please contact the school. We will be happy to put you in touch with someone involved raising money for their trip. (Please note that the deadline to order is November 16. Pick up date and location to-be-determined)
Our Christmas shoe box program is now underway. Shoe boxes have to be returned to the school by November 10. Also on the 10th will be our Remembrance Day ceremony. It will get underway at 2:15 that afternoon and all are welcome to attend. On November 9 students in grades 7 - 12 will be attending a student conference in Lethbridge. This will involve special pick-up locations and times for that day. Students will be bringing home a permission form starting Monday, Oct. 24.
The annual auction is now just over a week away. Please make sure to order you tickets this week. You can place your order here on our website. I look forward to seeing you out on November 5.
