Graduation 2017

Hello Parents;

Thank you to all the parents who spent last Friday at Brant helping with our annual sports day. Your help makes it possible for that day to be as much fun as it was. Of course Mr. Doerksen adds a great deal to the fun as well. It was a fantastic day and great to see the effort but in by all the students.

We had our final band concert and choir performance last Thursday at the High River Baptist Church. It was very encouraging to see such a large audience in attendance. Thank you to the parents for your commitment to the music program at Brant. I know that Mr. Rodgers and Mr. Korthuis are already making plans for next year.

The annual Brant Golf Tournament was a great success. It was the largest tournament to date with 72 golfers. It was a perfect day for playing golf. Thank you to the tournament organizers and to the volunteers. All proceeds from the day will go to improve the Band and Science rooms and other areas of need at Brant Christian.

This Wednesday is our elementary track meet in Vulcan. All students from grade 1 - 6 will be leaving from Brant Christian at 8:30 and traveling by bus to Vulcan. We will return to school in time the catch the buses home. All parents are welcome to come.

As the heading of this blog indicates, this is the week we celebrate our graduating students. We have 7 grads this year. We will hold a special chapel this week in their honour and the graduation ceremony and banquet taking place on Friday, June 9 at the High River Golf and Country Club.

On behalf of the staff at Brant Christian we wish each of our graduating students the very best and pray that they will continue to place God first in their lives and to live accordingly. Congratulations graduates.
