Grad Goodies up for Grabs!

Hello to all our wonderful Brant families! I hope this weekend is filled with lots of time outside for all of you as the weather is lovely. Now that daylight savings has started, it is great to have more light in the evenings and I have certainly been enjoying that extra bit of evening light for a walk when I get home after a day with the students.

One thing that is becoming very apparent is that the melting snow has created a lot of puddles, and in turn a lot of mud! We are doing our best to help students make good choices about how they spend time with all the standing water and mud, but we can use your help to ensure they have good boots and indoor shoes to help keep the mud outside.

Some other reminders:

  • Parent teacher interviews are coming up next week on Wednesday and Thursday night from 4-8 pm. If you haven’t yet signed up, be sure to do so right away.

  • Once again our grads are having a Dessert Auction with some amazing items.  These are available by blind bid at brantbakesale@gmail.com . Make sure you check out the descriptions in Mrs. Massey’s email sent this past Wednesday. They also will be having a bake sale during Parent Teacher interviews. Be sure to bring cash to purchase your favourite selection.

  • The Scholastic Book sale is happening this week as well. Students can check out items ahead of time for purchase on Wednesday and Thursday night, or you can buy virtually at https://virtualbookfairs.scholastic.ca/pages/5163795

  • We are doing a Rock Your Socks Day on Monday in support of World Down Syndrome Day. Students are encouraged to wear mismatched or crazy socks to show off. I am looking forward to seeing some amazing displays!

It has been exciting to see so many families registering for next year, along with a steady interest from new families wanting to tour Brant. Even though it is only March, I have already begun to envision the possibilities for next fall. It has been a blessing and privilege to be able to serve the Brant community, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us, not just in the coming days and weeks, but years as well. Thank you for your support for our teachers and for our mission to provide an excellent Christian education to all our students. God bless you all!
