Did you know that BCS has a curling team?  Indeed, we do!

It is made up of 6 energetic junior high students and the team plays out of the Vulcan curling rink, with the odd game in Milo, on Wednesday afternoons from 4-5. Throughout the months of January and February, they will be competing weekly against 2 teams from Champion, 2 teams from Vulcan and 1 team from Milo.  Under the coaching of Mr. Doerksen and Ms. Wolfe, the team is calling themselves "STRETCHY EAGLES." (If you're wondering, the name comes from the recommendation from Mr D. to wear "stretchy pants" to prevent rock-throwing-wardrobe-malfunctions and of course, from our own BCS "Eagles"!) The students play four ends per match. The team is currently undefeated and would welcome cheering fans, so come on out to watch them play - Wednesday afternoons, 4-5pm! GO STRETCHY EAGLES!
