Corn Maze Delight

Hello Families of Brant, What a busy week! ... a week that saw our young students get used to routines while older students selected options and finally got onto their online (PBB) courses.  Big thanks goes out to Mrs. Wasik in being patient in ensuring all the senior high students got registered for their online courses.

Volleyball
Fall is the season for volleyball for many of our older students. We've had outstanding support from the entire Brant community in the form of volunteer coaches that has allowed us to field a girls triple ball team, boys and girls junior A teams, a boys junior varsity team as well as girls and boys senior varsity teams. Special thanks goes out to all the volunteer coaches and Mrs. Sierra Nauta and Mrs. Chrissie Nauta who keep the volleyball community (i.e. players, coaches, parents) organized though the Team Linkt app.  With the exception of our girls triple ball team, all our teams begin league play this week.  Added to league play, our Senior Girls will participate in the Prairie Christian School Tourney in Three Hills (Sept 22/23) while the Senior Boys will play in the Oilfields High School Tournament in Diamond Valley (Sept 22/23). Come cheer on our teams.  Go Eagles Go!

Bamfield Field Trip (Grades 9 - 12)
Although the Bamfield Field Trip to Bamfield, BC (Grades 9 - 12) seems far away (April 2-4, 2024), please be alert to announcements and/or information sent home regarding this trip as there are a limited amount of spaces available and students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served based.  Mr. Kroeker will be sending home information as soon as details are finalized.

Corn Maze Field Trip
I couldn't think of a better way to end the week than having fun exploring all the different attractions at Calgary Farmland (we just call it the Corn Maze).  After a hectic first few weeks, it was such a blessing to be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful warm day.  Thanks to all the parent chaperones and to our bus drivers Pat, Deb, John Penner and Mandie Doerksen who made it all possible.

Finally, feel free to reach out to me should you have any ideas or concerns, or just want to chat.

May God bless you as you seek His face,
Mr. Shain Chisholm, Principal
