Busy Week
Hello Parents;
You can tell we are almost to June by how many activities are happening at school. Last Wednesday our junior high track team traveled to Vulcan for their district track meet. This event had to go rain, shine or snow and the forecast was not promising. We started the day under light showers but by 10 the rain stopped and we actually had some sunshine. We finished the meet shortly after 2:00 and headed back to school and by the end of the school day it was pouring! What a blessing we did not have to compete under those conditions. The good news is that we had 13 students qualify to move on to a south zone track meet this Tuesday in Medicine Hat.
On Thursday we had Richard Fangrad from Creation Ministries International speak to our junior/senior high students. His topic was, "Biology and the Bible." He did an excellent job of presenting to our students how Biology and the Bible line up at a level that our students could understand.
We had 5 senior high students participate in a zone track meet in Lethbridge on Thursday and two of them have qualified to move on the the provincial competition in Edmonton on June 2-3. Sierra Nauta will represent Brant Christian in the senior girls 200 meter dash and Brayton Wasik will represent Brant in the intermediate boys high jump. This is the first time a Brant athlete has made it to a provincial athletic competition. We wish both athletes our best wishes and will be praying that they set new personal best results. Go Sierra and Brayton!

- Tuesday, junior high track meet in Medicine Hat
- Thursday, band/ choir performance K- 12, High River Baptist Church. 7:00 PM start
- Friday, sports day at Brant. Parent volunteers are needed!
- Friday, provincial track meet for Sierra and Brayton
- Saturday, Brant Golf Tournament. You can still sign up or become a sponsor.
- Wednesday, June 7 elementary track meet in Vulcan. Parent chaperones needed.
- Thursday, June 8 Grad Chapel at 1:00 pm for all grades. Everyone is welcome to attend.
- Friday, June 9 Brant Christian grade 12 graduation at the Highwood Golf and Country Club
* A special reminder about the upcoming Brant Christian School Society Membership Meeting on Tuesday, June 13 - 7:00 pm at the High River Full Gospel Church. One parent from each of our school families is requested to attend.
