Back to School Info!

We are excited to welcome a new school year, full of great promise!  The biggest news is the number of new faces that we will see at Brant. We have 20 new students joining us this year and we look forward to making them a part of the Brant Christian community!

Our first day back, Tuesday, Sept. 6th, will include our annual pancake breakfast, held mid-morning. We will also have an opening assembly around 9:00 AM, once all the students have settled into their homeroom classes. We ask that students arrive at the school for their first class by 8:20 am in order to do so. The remainder of the day will be regular classes as scheduled.

We also want to welcome Mrs. Anderson back to Brant. She will be teaching LA to students in grades 5 - 9 and will be here on a half time basis. Before the first day of school we will have another new staff member joining us to teach Social Studies for students in grades 5 - 8. This will be announced prior to the start of the school year.

With an increase in our student body, bus routes will be changed slightly. The board transportation coordinator is diligently working on the bussing routes and you should hear from your bus driver, of Southland Transportation, with your bus stop information by September 2nd.  However, feel free to contact the school office if you haven't heard anything regarding bussing before this time.  As well, please note that bussing is always being tweaked within that first week of school, so we ask that you please be patient as Southland drivers, our society board and school office work on times and stops as we enter the new school year.
