Annual General Meeting

Hello Parents;

This Thursday, Nov. 17 will be the annual Brant Christian School Society general meeting. It will take place at the High River Full Gospel church starting at 7:00 PM. These meetings are not long and are very informative. It would be well worth your time to attend and find out what it takes to keep a Christian school running. I look forward to seeing most of you there.

Last Thursday, Nov. 10 we celebrated Remembrance Day at school. Thank you to Mrs. Brunning who organized the event and for Mr. Dees, who sang for the students, for Sierra and the reading of her story and for Mr. Lebreque who was at Brant representing the legion. It was good to set time aside and remember the sacrifices that were made by so many people.

Report cards will be coming out next week. Parent/Teacher interviews go on Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 4:00 to 7:30 and on Thursday from 2:15 - 7:30. Students will be dismissed on the Thursday at 2:00. It is the expectation of our school that all parents will make an appointment sometime over the two days to hear first hand how their children are doing.

This year's band concert will take place on December 1. Please note that it will take place at the High River Baptist Church starting at 7:00 PM. It is our hope that this change will allow for greater convenience and comfort for both our audience and performers. The concert will involve students in grade 1 - 4 singing and students in grades 5 - 12 with an instrumental performance.

The school Christmas play will take place at school on December 15. Please make plans to be in attendance for this production.

A reminder that tomorrow, Monday the 14th there is no school as this is a PD day for the teaching staff. School will resume on Tuesday the 15th.
