Scholastic Book Fair is coming!

To all our wonderful Brant families.

This week was truly the week we could say the grip of winter seemed to be breaking. We were unable to use the rink for the first time since December, the snowmen from the contest last week withered away, and we had students come in covered in mud too (not the little kids either!). Regardless, it has been a wonderful expression of God’s faithfulness to see the sunshine and to get our first intimations of the spring to come.

A few reminders:

  • Parent teacher interviews take place on Wednesday and Thursday night next week. We look forward to seeing you, and if you haven’t signed up yet please do so right away

  • We also have our Scholastic Book Sale running next week. All purchases go to support the library, but if you do not want to buy any books and wish to make a donation instead, please make it out to Palliser, care of Brant Christian School (either cheque or cash). You can either send it to us beforehand or when you are here.

  • We adjusted the chapel time from the newsletter, and have it scheduled for period 4 & 5 (11 and 12:30) on Wednesday next week

  • We will also have all the lost and found items put out for next week. If you have been missing that glove, hat or coat, come by the school all next week and pick it up. We will be emptying the lost and found following interviews by donating all unclaimed items.

Volunteer Corner

Here are our opportunities that are coming up:

We have our mission team participants serving at the Mustard Seed again this Friday and Saturday. Please join with me in praying for them as they serve this important ministry to our community, and as they prepare their hearts for their trip in April. We welcome all prayers for the team, whether it is for the preparations beforehand or for the safety and the work of the Holy Spirit while they are serving. Thank you!

I pray that you have a wonderful weekend, whether you are working, following your student in their pursuits or relaxing as a family. May the Peace of Christ be with you, Amen!
