Exciting Events

There are a couple of events that are important for everyone to be aware of. There is a parent meeting tonight (Wed.) at the Full Gospel Church in High River for parents of high school students. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM. We are now underway with our student's council. Elections will take place this Friday with class reps being chosen next week. Our first family activity will take place this Friday at school. The students are placed into family groups and we will be engaged in understanding this month's unsung heroes of the Bible, Joshua, Caleb and Rahab. Check with your children Friday after school to see how their afternoon went.

Our cross country running team will be competing this Monday at Southern Alberta Bible Camp. I will let you know next Tuesday how well they did. Volleyball team practices begin next week. The league games will begin in late September.

Our society board has approved the purchase of a skating rink for the school. It will be up and operational for this winter. We look forward to lots of fun times on the ice. Special events will be planned. Students will need to be wearing hockey helmets when on the ice. I will keep you informed as to the progress of our rink.
