Family Day Weekend

Hello Parents;

Our high school students returned safely on Wednesday. And judging by their level of enthusiasm I would say that the mission trip was a successful one. Many of the students have expressed how touched they were by the opportunity to serve the people of Tijuana on behalf of Christ. From building two houses, working in a soup kitchen, a senior's home and an orphanage and visiting a drug rehabilitation center, they have come away with a great deal of experience and a realization of how important it is to be ready to be a servant. Over the coming weeks you will hopefully hear our students speak in your church about their experience. Please make sure to talk with them individually though to get greater detail of their trip. Thank you again to everyone who helped make the mission trip possible. Your prayers and donations were and are much appreciated.

On Tuesday our junior high boys and girls basketball teams will be playing in a full day tournament in Arrowwood. Players will leave from Brant by 8:45 and return in time to catch the bus going home. We encourage all parents who have children on either team to come to Arrowwood and support our athletes.

Next Monday is the Family Day holiday. If you are fortunate enough to be going somewhere, I wish you safe travels and an enjoyable time away from your routine. If you are staying close to home then I trust your weekend will be a relaxing one.

There will be no postings for the next couple of weeks. The next posting will be March 4.
