Parent/Teacher Night

Hello Parents;

What a beautiful weekend. It is difficult to beat a warm, fall day when there is very little breeze. I marvel at what a magnificent country we live in, there is beauty all around us. Certainly a reason to be thankful.

The big event for this week will be the parent/teacher night on Thursday, Sept. 29. This is an opportunity to meet with your child's teacher and find out how the  first month has gone. This is very valuable night for our first year parents. To book an appointment, contact the office and find out from Cathy what time slots are still available. I look forward to seeing many of you out that evening.

Our senior high boys team took part in a volleyball tournament in Black Diamond over the weekend. They performed very well and our players were complimented on their playing and we were invited to apply for participation in the Foothills Volleyball League for next year. We are excited about having a girls senior team this well. They will get underway soon in challenging various schools that would be equal to their level of experience. Aside from creating a more well-rounded student, our goal is to promote Brant Christian and raise the awareness level of other families in the Foothills area, regarding our school

A reminder, if you have a son/daughter in grade 9 - 12 and they are planning on participating in our high school trip to Vancouver Island in February, they need to have the permission form signed and a deposit cheque of $75 into school by Wednesday of this week, the 28th.
