Happy New Year

Hello Parents;

Our first week back and the start of 2016 went well. Monday morning was rough for many of the students. I think the teachers were able to hide it a bit better but it was great to be back at school. This month's assembly focus is on missions and building. We chose this for January because of our high school group who will be heading off to Tijuana Mexico to build a house and to do ministry work in that area. The group will  leave on Wed. January 27 and return on February 3. We are planning an evening where the Brant community will be able to come out and hear the testimonies of these students and their mission work. We will keep you posted as to date, time and location.

Please plan to join us this Wednesday for Joal Kamps and his musical ministry. Joal will be speaking and singing in our chapel celebration. We will start at 1:15 and singing will get underway at 2:15. 

On February 1 as part of our professional development day, we have invited Jojo Ruba from Faith Beyond Belief to speak to our staff on two topics: Christian Worldview and What is Truth. This is open to all parents. We will meet in the Full Gospel Church at 1:00 PM. Please feel free to bring friends with you. The session will wrap up by 3:30.

We have rescheduled our skating afternoon that we cancelled in early December. It will now take place on Friday, January 22 at 2:30. If you are free that afternoon please join us.

Please continue to pray for Brant and for this new year. We know that 2016 will bring changes to our school. Continue to pray for God's blessing over our school and for wisdom and strength for our society board as they continue to give generously of their time. We are very blessed to have a Christian school and should never take this gift for granted.

I wish all of you the very best in 2016. I look forward with much anticipation for what God has in store for Brant Christian this year.
