Philippians 4:7

Grace and peace to all our wonderful Brant families.

This was a very tumultuous week for our school, and I praise God that we have three days to rest and renew. I was glad to speak to so many families over the past number of days, hearing your hearts and being able to pray with so many. What is so clear to me is that the passion for providing your students with the best runs deep through our parent body. Passion is a wonderful thing to see, so much better than if families were unresponsive or apathetic. It is part of the reason I came to work at Brant, and I know it is a driving force behind the staff’s desire to serve your students. In the coming days and weeks as we determine what the new government directives mean for our school, I will continue to be in communication with you, explaining what we are doing to ensure student safety and upholding the strong educational experience you have come to expect.

A few things to remember as we head into the Family Day break next week:

  • The open house is on Thursday night from 4-8pm. Please spread the word to any families who may be interested in Brant as an option for their children.

  • Our highway clean fundraiser is coming up in May, which supports our mission trip to Mexico to build homes there.  We need to hear from families who are willing to volunteer to supervise students while they work. This is a great way to come alongside our Jr and Sr high students on their journey to Mexico,  to do such awesome work to build the kingdom of God. Please let Mrs. Massey know if you can help us out.

  • With the warm weather this past week, our rink has almost completely melted. All skating equipment needs to go home as we pack up the rink this coming week.

And now “May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Quinn Barreth, Principal
