Pray for Kyle

Hello Parents;

Kyle Nash is a 2016 graduate from Brant Christian School who is presently attending Miller College of the Bible located near Salmon Arm BC. While skiing on Saturday, Kyle had a terrible fall suffering broken ribs, a punctured lung and severe head trauma. He is presently in Kelowna in intensive care. His parents, Dan and Elaine are with their son. Kyle's situation is very serious and he and his family need our prayers as the next few days are critical.

In his grade 12 year, Kyle was part of the group from Brant Christian School who participated in a mission trip to Tijuana to build houses for needy families. Kyle was so impressed with the work of Youth With a Mission that he returned to Tijuana after graduating to help with their building program.

As parents, we can understand the anguish Kyle's parents are going through to see their son in such a serious medical situation. Please support the Nash family through your prayers and emotional support.

This Thursday is the last day of school prior to the Christmas break. It will be a pajama day for the students and staff with small class celebrations happening in the afternoon. We are continuing the lighting of our Advent wreath. Monday morning we will be lighting the candle that represents joy.

The skating rink opened on Thursday of last week. Skating is available each noon recess. We encourage students to bring their own skates and helmets but we do have some equipment that we can loan out for students who do not have their own. The rink is available over the Christmas break for any family who would like to come out and go skating.

Their will be a final blog next week to celebrate Christmas and that will end the 2020 year.

Thank you,

Kevin
