Remembrance Day

Hello Parents;

What a windy weekend! I started doing my report cards this weekend. I think I chose the best time to be indoors. Reports card will be sent home on November 23 and parent/teachers meetings run on Nov. 25, (4:00 - 8:00) and the 26th from 2:30 - 8:00. Please remember that school is dismissed on the 26th at 2:00 PM.

We will hold our Remembrance Day ceremony Monday morning. We will hold two services. The first one for our older students at 9:00 AM and the second at 12:30 for our younger students. My father was a WW2 vet and flew in a Halifax bomber. November 11 brings back a lot of memories of chilly services as we honoured those who lost their lives on our behalf. I hope that all of you will be able to set time aside on Wednesday to say a prayer of thanks for the freedoms we enjoy.
