Summer Send-off

Hello Parents;

The end of our unusual year comes to a close of Friday, June 26. We will meet in the parking lot of the High River Baptist Church at 10:00 to salute our graduates and to wish each other a relaxing summer. A far cry from our usual send-off but at least an opportunity to gather one more time.

The plan for September is for a normal start with students in the classrooms with their teachers. There will be an increased awareness for hygiene throughout the day and greater vigilance for keeping students home who are showing signs of illness.

Many of you are aware that Miss Tung will not be back in September. She has taken a position with Trinity Christian School in Calgary. We wish Miss Tung all the best and thank her for 3 years of teaching at Brant Christian. We have found a new teacher for our grade 5/6 class. Sarah Kroeker-Goodfellow will be joining our staff starting in late August. Sarah did some substitute teaching with us this past year and is the oldest daughter of Mr. Kroeker. Welcome Sarah.

Our new high school wing is taking shape very quickly. It will be a fantastic edition to our school. The new siding will go on this week and then the focus will be on completing the renovations on the inside. We plan to have an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony in late August. Once the new wing has been completed we will send out pictures for our school family to see.

If I do not see you on Friday, then I wish you and your family the very best over the summer break. Thank you for your ongoing support of Brant Christian, thank you for your prayers. God has blessed Brant with good leadership and excellent teachers. Make sure to share with your friends the advantages of having children in a strong Christian school.

Happy summer everyone!

Kevin Bailey
