Family day March 27

Hello Parents;

What a fantastic day this turned out to be. It is so nice to have June weather in March. I hope that the reverse does not happen come June! Our family day activity was an Esther egg hunt. No that is not a spelling mistake. We are studying about Esther as our unsung hero this month and one of our students thought this would be a good tie in to an Easter related activity. The students had a great time searching for the Esther eggs which contained clues, pieces to a puzzle and of course a little chocolate.

Just a couple of reminders for you. March 31 is the day that we are asking you to let us know about your return to Brant for next year. This is very important for us as we continue to make plans for adding more activities for our students.

We have 8 students going to Ottawa in May. They are involved in selling some very beautiful hanging baskets. The flowers sell for $35/basket and you can order through the following students; Faith or Alexandra Woodley, Sierrs or Janessa Nauta or Jarod Massey, You can contact the school and one of these students would be happy to help you with your order.

The group going to Ottawa would like to bring 4 - 5 gift items with them to present to their guest speakers and hosts. If you know of an artisan who would be willing to donate an item that depicts our western culture and heritage, please contact me. It would be greatly appreciated by the students.

Our Brant society continues to look for property between High River and Okotoks as a location for Brant to relocate to. If you know of someone who would be willing to sell 7 - 10 acres please let me know and I will put them in touch with our search committee.

We will be celebrating Easter next Wednesday with a special chapel in the afternoon. It will start at 1:15 for students in grades 1 - 6, singing at 2:17 for everyone and the high school portion will get underway at 3:00.

Thank you,

Kevin
